Breakthrough’s Intramural Project Grants funding stream is a bi-annual funding opportunity designed to attract exciting new ideas that capitalise on research funded at the Breakthrough Research Centre and new Breakthrough Research Units.

Breakthrough Extramural Project Grants


The Breakthrough Extramural Project Grants funding stream is a UK-wide competitive research funding stream, which aims to identify and support research of strategic importance throughout the UK. Recently identified areas include complementary therapies, which resulted in the highly successful launch of the Complementary Therapy Research Programme.
